The Canal du Midi
Exceptionnal work of Pierre-Paul Riquet realized in XVIIth century, the Canal du Midi is registred on the Worldwide Heritage of Unesco since 1996.
Situated at 2 km from the campsite, you can access the Canal du Midi by the Portiragnes Village.
Pass above the lock and go through the canal by the cycle track. Going to the beach (3km), on the shadow, you'll see a wonderful savage landscape. And depending of the seasons, you can see bulls, horses, pink birds...Have a look!
